River Dreams: Protecting Special Places

"Nature is a tool to get children to experience not just the wider world, but themselves."

-Stephen Moss

Even if we're not parents or grandparents, we can all remember experiences where we came to know ourselves better in our childhood. Nature, wild places, provide those opportunities in spades! But green space is rapidly disappearing in the face of a changing world. This map available from the Green Infrastructure shows projections for the future of green spaces across the nation and it's sobering.

Help us protect the places in the Inland Northwest that will support the life we love, a life with nature, for future generations! Help us as we work to strengthen communities and honor lands through conservation.
