June 19th Waikiki Springs Trail Painting

Sometimes the best way to be a good steward of the lands we love is to stay on the trails. That can be difficult if the trail is hard to see! In the Waikiki Springs area, Inland Northwest Land Conservancy and Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife are neighbors to a small community close to the river – the Vistawood Court community. Many trail users often walk down private driveways or roads by accident simply because the right path to follow is a little hard to see.

To make the path clearer, volunteers will join the Conservancy and Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife land managers to paint a trail leading from the switchback trail, through the small Vistawood Court community, and back onto the WDFW trail system.

Volunteers will be provided with all tools, gloves, and equipment necessary for a successful project.
